Resolve, Requiring the Department of Education To Amend Rules Relating to School Construction

Sec. 1. School construction; rules. Resolved: That the Department of Education shall amend its rules pertaining to school construction eligibility and approval process to include language that requires as a condition for approval of eligibility for state funding that the applicant unit shall demonstrate that the proposed solution is equal to or better than other options after taking into account all resources and facilities within the region, including those that are reasonably available from other educational units.
