Joint Order, To Amend the Joint Rules To Allow the Sponsor of a Bill To Be Present When Information Is Obtained for the Preparation of a Fiscal Note

the House concurring, that the Joint Rules be amended by amending Joint Rule 312 by adding at the end a new paragraph to read:

If the Office of Fiscal and Program Review contacts a source outside of the Legislature for assistance with developing the fiscal note on a bill or resolve, then the office must provide the sponsor of that bill or resolve with the opportunity to be present when the outside source conveys its assistance to the office.
