Amend the resolve in section 3 in the last line (page 1, line 24 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "legislation; and be it further" and inserting the following: 'legislation.'

Amend the resolve by striking out all of section 4.

This amendment removes the authorization of the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over taxation matters to submit a bill.
