Amend the resolve in section 1 in the 2nd paragraph in the 2nd line (page 1, line 12 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "matters" the following: 'and the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over taxation matters' and in the 3rd line from the end (page 1, line 14 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "matters" the following: 'and the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over taxation matters'

SUMMARY

This amendment provides that the Commissioner of Agriculture, Food and Rural Resources must conduct the study within existing resources, requires the results of the study also to be submitted to the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over taxation matters and authorizes that committee to submit a bill to the First Regular Session of the 125th Legislature.
