An Act To Create a Statewide Breast-feeding Resource System at Women, Infants and Children Offices

Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §3107-A  is enacted to read:

§ 3107-A.  Women, Infants and Children offices; materials

Offices for the Women, Infants and Children Special Supplemental Food Program of the federal Child Nutrition Act of 1966, or its successor in this State, shall provide written materials on breast-feeding, provide counseling on breast-feeding and provide breast pumps to any woman, regardless of whether the woman is participating or not participating in the program.
