Resolve, To Create a Surrounding Community Advisory Panel for the Juniper Ridge Landfill in Old Town

Sec. 1. Resolve 2003, c. 93, §1, sub-§5, ¶E, amended.  Resolved: That Resolve 2003, c. 93, §1, sub-§5, ¶E , as amended by PL 2005, c. 341, §2, is further amended to read:

Sec. 2. Resolve 2003, c. 93, §1, sub-§6, enacted. Resolved:  That Resolve 2003, c. 93, §1, sub-§6 is enacted to read:

6. The towns of Greenbush, Milford, Bradley, Orono, Glenburn and Hudson and Argyle Township shall jointly establish a single surrounding community advisory panel, referred to in this subsection as "the panel," for the purpose of making recommendations to the joint citizen advisory committee established pursuant to subsection 5. The municipal officers of each member municipality shall appoint 2 members to the panel and the Penobscot County commissioners shall appoint 2 members from Argyle Township; and be it further

Summary

This resolve establishes a surrounding community advisory panel for the purpose of making recommendations to the Juniper Ridge Landfill joint citizen advisory committee. The member communities of the panel include the towns of Greenbush, Milford, Bradley, Orono, Glenburn and Hudson and Argyle Township.
