An Act To Allow Members of the Armed Forces Who Are Not Residents but Own Property in this State To Obtain Resident Hunting and Fishing Licenses or Permits
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §10752, sub-§7 is enacted to read:
7. Nonresident member of United States Armed Forces. A member of the Armed Forces of the United States who is not a resident of the State but who owns property in the State is eligible for a resident fishing, hunting or combination fishing and hunting license or permit.
SUMMARY
This bill allows a member of the United States Armed Forces who is not a resident of the State but who owns property in the State to purchase a resident fishing, hunting or combination fishing and hunting license or permit.
