Amend the bill by striking out everything after the enacting clause and before the summary and inserting the following:

‘Sec. 1. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.

Initiative: Appropriates funds for assistance to family members, friends and neighbors providing care for persons who are elderly to enable them to stay in their homes.

SUMMARY

This amendment replaces the bill. It appropriates $200,000 per year in funding for family members, friends and neighbors who provide care for persons who are elderly.
