Resolve, Directing the Department of Corrections To Accept Bank Checks for Inmates

Sec. 1. Checks. Resolved: That the Department of Corrections shall amend its rules to accept any check, except a personal check, without placing the check on hold for a period of 14 days. Rules adopted pursuant to this resolve are routine technical rules as defined in the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
