An Act To Clarify the Definition of Hard Cider for the Purposes of the Returnable Container Law
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 32 MRSA §1862, sub-§14, as enacted by PL 1989, c. 585, Pt. D, §§3 and 11 and affected by c. 869, Pt. C, §12, is amended to read:
14. Wine. "Wine" has the same meaning as in Title 28-A, section 2, except, that for the purposes of this chapter, "wine" includes hard cider, as defined in Title 28-A, section 2, subsection 12-A, but does not include wine coolers.
