‘Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6671, sub-§1-A is enacted to read:
1-A. Municipal fines. In accordance with Title 30-A, section 3001, a fine collected pursuant to this section must be paid to the municipality in which the violation occurred.’

‘Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6671, sub-§1-A is enacted to read:
SUMMARY
This amendment replaces the bill and clarifies that fines issued pursuant to a violation of a municipal shellfish conservation ordinance must be paid to the municipality in which the violation occurred.
