| This amendment will not change the total state and local cost of K-12 public education or the State's share of that cost. Providing an exception to the minimum regional school unit size requirements for School Union 60 and School Administrative District 12 due to their geographic isolation and low population density is not expected to significantly change the amount of savings anticipated to be achieved as a result of the reorganization of school administrative units into regional school units pursuant to Public Law 2007, chapter 240, Part XXXX. | ||||||
