This bill authorizes a bond issue in the amount of $1,700,000 to support drinking water programs and the construction of wastewater treatment facilities. The bill also creates an exemption from the Storm Water Management Laws for disturbed areas associated with utility substations and meeting certain requirements. This exemption will result in a minor revenue reduction to the Storm Water Compensation Fund within the Department of Environmental Protection. Two similar projects have been processed in the past 5 years , one with a $1,500 fee and one with a fee of $250. |
