This amendment
specifies that the savings recognized by not having to publish the status of
shellfish areas in newspapers be transferred into the Shellfish Fund and
results in a reduction of cost savings to the General Fund of $25,000 in
fiscal year 2008-09 and a corresponding increase to Other Special Revenue
Funds in the Department of Marine Resources of $25,000 in fiscal year
2008-09.
