This bill
requires the same guidelines for the operation of motorboats by people under
18 as exist for personal watercraft, and provides for mandatory boater safety
education training for persons 16 years of age or older and under 18. The Department of Inland Fisheries and
Wildlife will need an appropriation for a safety coordinator position,
travel, course materials, and miscellaneous costs. |
