This legislation will result in an increase in dedicated revenue of approximately $3,400 every four years beginning in fiscal year 2008-09 to the Ground Water Oil Clean-up Fund within the Department of Environmental Protection from fines resulting from the uncertified practice of underground oil storage tank installation and inspection. The bill also allows investigation costs of the Department of the Attorney General to be paid by the person violating the terms of the injunction to the Ground Water Oil Clean-up Fund.
