Increasing the
number of qualifying contributions required from gubernatorial candidates
will increase revenue collected for the Maine Clean Election Fund. Assuming that there will be 4 gubernatorial
candidates in the 2010 general election, the Commission on Governmental
Ethics and Election Practices estimates that the revenue increase will be
$15,000 in fiscal year 2009-10. |
