The Department of Education may require additional General Fund appropriations for the additional staff and program support costs associated with tracking the energy consumption data reported by school administrative units and reporting the information to the Public Utilities Commission and the Governor's Energy Office. The additional costs associated with providing additional energy efficiency funds for school administrative units can be absorbed by the Public Utilities Commission utilizing existing budgeted resources. |
