Requiring fines imposed for any violation of a tribal or state law within Indian territory be remitted to the Passamaquoddy Tribe or the Penobscot Nation will result in a reduction of General Fund and Highway Fund revenue in an amount less than $10,000 annually. Also, implementation of this legislation will result in one-time costs for computer system changes estimated to be between $60,000-75,000. |
