Appropriates
$240,000 in 2008-09 to provide financial resources to the Portland
Identification and Early Referral (PIER) program to continue its efforts to
prevent new cases of psychosis and psychotic disorders in adolescents and
young adults. Also appropriates $58,704 million in 2008-09 (and allocates
federal funds) for additional costs to the MaineCare program as a result of a
restructuring of the PIER program that will result in increased MaineCare
billing for eligible youth. |
