Requiring the
State Planning Office within the Executive Department to develop revised
training, certification and continuing education requirements for code
enforcement officers will require a General Fund appropriation of $180,830 in
fiscal year 2007-08. This
appropriation will fund contractual services, printing, training and other
miscellaneous expenses associated with the development of educational
requirements for code enforcement officers.
Additional costs to the Department of Professional and Financial
Regulation associated with proposing and developing licensing requirements
for building contractors can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
