Fiscal Detail and Notes | ||||||
Changing the requirements for the transfer of an agency liquor store license is likely to result in a General Fund savings to the Department of Public Safety from a reduced number of public hearings that the department will have to hold. In addition, establishment of a transfer fee is likely to increase General Fund revenue collected by the department. The amounts of savings and revenue increases will depend on the number of license transfers that take place and cannot be determined at this time. |
