The Board of
Dental Examiners, affiliated with the Department of Professional and
Financial Regulation, will require ongoing Other Special Revenue Funds
allocations of $124,833 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $152,306 in fiscal year
2008-09 for one Investigator position and one Office Specialist I position
and related all other to support the anticipated increase in administrative
and investigative duties as a result of allowing corporations to engage in
the practice of dentistry in the State.
The Board of Dental Examiners anticipates additional dedicated
revenues from licensing and other fees to be $18,875 in fiscal year 2007-08
and $20,425 in fiscal year 2008-09. It
is not clear whether the Board will have sufficient revenue to support these
ongoing positions without increasing licensing and other fees. |
