The Board of
Dental Examiners affiliated with the Department of Professional and Financial
Regulation will require Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $64,429 in
fiscal year 2007-08 and $77,915 in fiscal year 2008-09 for one Office
Specialist I position and related all other for costs associated with
allowing dental hygienists to practice independently. The Board estimates additional dedicated
revenue from licensing and registration fees to be $7,250 in fiscal year
2007-08 and $8,685 in fiscal year 2008-09.
It appears that the Board of Dental Examiners does have sufficient
resources within its existing funds to support the additional position
without raising fees. |
