Establishes new
civil violations and Class E crimes.
Sentences for a Class E crime must be served in a county Jail. The average cost to a county for each Class
E sentence is $2,959 based on an average length of stay of 27 days. The collection of additional fines may also
increase General Fund revenue by minor amounts. |

Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
|
|
|
|
|
|
The
establishment of an apprenticeship hunter license program will result in a
net loss of General Fund revenue collected by the Department of Inland
Fisheries and Wildlife of $10,922 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $31,193 in each
fiscal year thereafter. This assumes
that 1% of current licensees will opt to buy the appreticeship licenses
instead of their more expensive current ones and that 200 unlicensed
residents and 100 unlicensed non-residents will be attracted to the new
license. |
