This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $300,000 in fiscal year
2007-08 to the Department of Public Safety for the costs of establishing a
pilot program permitting citizens to return unused prescription drugs by
mail. If the program were to be
continued, the department estimates that General Fund costs for fiscal year
2008-09 would be $364,825. |
