Class D crime. The collection of additional fines may also increase General Fund revenue by minor amounts. |

Reducing the filing fee for forcible entry and detainer ( FED) cases will result in a reduction of General Fund revenue of $156,938 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $209,250 annually thereafter. It will also result in a reduction of Other Special Revenue Funds to the Civic Legal Services Fund of $11,812 in fiscal year 2007-08 and $15,750 annually thereafter. Implementation of this legislation may require additional resources in the clerk's office within the Judicial Branch. The cost of each additional assistant clerk position is approximately $46,000 annually. |
