The Office of the
Treasurer of State will require a General Fund appropriation of $30,000 in
fiscal year 2006-07 to provide funds for contractual services to examine
issues related to the Municipal Revenue Sharing program including
identification of the reasons for the volatility of payments, the effect of
program reductions on municipalities, an analysis of the Fund for the
Efficient Delivery of Local and Regional Services and a review of the
obstacles to administration of the municipal property tax limitation. |
