This
bill establishes a procedure of petition for enacting noise ordinances in
unorganized townships. Requiring
county commissioners to submit the question to unincorporated township voters
if a petition is signed by at least 25 residents of the township or 10% of
the residents of the township, whichever is less, is a state mandate. The cost of submitting the question to
voters is somewhat mitigated by allowing it to be submitted at the next
statewide election. |
