Amend the amendment in section 1 in the last line (page 1, line 22 in amendment) by striking out the following: "paid." and inserting the following: 'paid; and be it further'
Amend the amendment by inserting after section 1 the following:
‘Sec. 2. Transfer from Maine Budget Stabilization Fund to Highway Fund. Resolved: That, notwithstanding the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 142, the State Controller shall transfer $4,357,500 no later than June 30, 2008 and $2,905,000 no later than June 30, 2009 from the Maine Budget Stabilization Fund to the Highway Fund to offset the Highway Fund revenue reduction in this resolve.’
