Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘An Act To Raise the Meal Allowance for Members of the Board of Environmental Protection and the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission’
Amend the bill by striking out everything after the enacting clause and before the summary and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §12004-D, sub-§1, as enacted by PL 1987, c. 786, §5, is amended to read:
Maine Land Use Regulation Commission | Legislative Per Diem Plus Expenses. Notwithstanding any limitation on noonday meal expenses in section 12002, subsection 2, for each day in attendance at a commission meeting or hearing, each member is entitled to a meal allowance not to exceed the legislative meal allowance for each session day as provided for in Title 3, section 2. | 12 MRSA §683 |
Sec. 2. 5 MRSA §12004-D, sub-§2, as amended by PL 1989, c. 503, Pt. A, §8 and c. 890, Pt. A, §§3 and 40, is further amended to read:

This amendment is the minority report.
