Amend the bill by inserting after the enacting clause and before section 1 the following:
‘Sec. 1. 7 MRSA §712, sub-§8-A is enacted to read:
Amend the bill in section 1 in §714 in subsection 1 in the 6th and 7th lines (page 1, lines 10 and 11 in L.D.) by striking out the following: " producing 10 or fewer product names and selling directly to consumers"
Amend the bill in section 1 in §714 in subsection 4 in the 4th line (page 1, line 34 in L.D.) by striking out the following: " producing 10 or fewer product names and selling directly to consumers"
Amend the bill by relettering or renumbering any nonconsecutive Part letter or section number to read consecutively.
SUMMARY
This amendment enacts a definition of "home-based manufacturer of pet food" and makes changes in the bill to reflect the presence of the definition.
