Resolve, To Create a New Hunter Safety Course

Sec. 1. Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to create hunter safety course. Resolved: That, by January 1, 2008, the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall design and implement a hunter safety course that includes:

1. An option for home study or classroom instruction;

2. One day at a shooting range for a written examination and for using a firearm; and

3. Options for firearm, bow and crossbow hunting instruction in a single course.
