Amend the bill by striking out all of section 1 and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §1760, sub-§90 is enacted to read:

This amendment specifies that the sales tax exemption proposed in the bill for a clean fuel vehicle is limited to the first $5,000 of the sales or lease price.
