Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 1 in the 2nd blocked paragraph by striking out the first sentence (page 1, lines 28 to 30 in L.D.) and inserting the following: ' A municipality may not receive a reimbursement payment under this section that would exceed an amount determined by calculating the tree growth tax loss less the municipal savings in educational costs attributable to reduced state valuation.'

Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 1 in paragraph C in subparagraph 4 in the 2nd line (page 2, line 12 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " land" the following: ' and the average value of tree growth land'

This amendment deletes language that is inconsistent with the changes in the bill and inserts language in the definition of "reduced tree growth valuation" that was inadvertently omitted.
