Amend the amendment on page 3 in subsection 3-A in the 8th line (page 3, line 14 in amendment) by inserting after the following: " records" the following: ' unless the Legislator against whom the complaint is made submits a written request that the complaint and all accompanying materials be made public'

SUMMARY

This amendment allows a Legislator against whom a complaint alleging a violation of legislative ethics has been made to request that the complaint be made public even if the Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices decides to not pursue the complaint.
