Amend the amendment by striking out all of the 2nd and 3rd indented paragraphs (page 1, lines 13 to 16 in amendment) and inserting the following:
Amend the order in subsection 3 in paragraph A in subparagraph (5) in the last line by inserting after the following: "13108;" the following: 'and'
Amend the order in subsection 3 by striking out all of paragraph B
Amend the order in subsection 3 by relettering the paragraphs to read consecutively.
Amend the order in subsection 4 in the 2nd line by inserting after the following: "appropriate." the following: 'The committee is authorized to meet 5 times to perform its duties.'
’summary
This amendment retains those portions of Senate Amendment "C" that changed the name of the committee and changed the reporting date. This amendment removes the requirement that various joint standing committees of the Legislature are required to provide comments and recommendations to the Joint Select Committee on Prosperity. The amendment also limits to 5 the number of meetings authorized for the joint select committee.
