An Act To Amend the Laws Governing the Lawful Possession of Certain Scheduled Drugs
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 17-A MRSA §1107-A, sub-§5 is enacted to read:
5. A person may not be charged with unlawful possession of a scheduled drug or controlled substance under subsection 1, paragraphs C to F until that person is given 24 hours to produce a valid prescription for the scheduled drug or controlled substance that is the basis for the charge.
