Amend the amendment in section 1 in the 5th line (page 1, line 20 in amendment) by inserting after the following: "study" the following: ', which may not exceed $60,000'

Amend the amendment in the 7th and 8th lines (page 1, lines 22 and 23 in amendment) by striking out the following: "without authorization from the Legislative Council"

Amend the amendment by striking out all of section 2 (page 1, lines 28 to 33 and page 2, lines 1 to 10 in amendment) and inserting the following:

‘Sec. 2. Appropriations and allocations. Resolved: That the following appropriations and allocations are made.

Initiative: Appropriates funds to the Legislature to contract for professional services for grant writing and other technical assistance. The $60,000 allocation is required to expend any outside grant received to fund updating the 2002 study.
