Amend the amendment by striking out all of the first 2 indented paragraphs after the title (page 1, lines 11 to 17 in amendment) and inserting the following:
Amend the bill by striking out all of section 1.
Amend the bill in section 2 in §154-G in subsection 1 in the 2nd line (page 1, line 19 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " business" the following: ' established for more than 3 years that is located on land that is the subject of the proceedings or located on adjoining land if that business owns the land that is the subject of the proceedings'
Amend the bill by striking out all of sections 3 and 4.
’Amend the amendment by inserting after section 6 the following:
Amend the bill by relettering or renumbering any nonconsecutive Part letter or section number to read consecutively.

This amendment removes provisions from Committee Amendment "A" that apply to compensation to be paid by municipalities when exercising eminent domain authority. This amendment also amends the criteria established in the bill for determination of compensation to be paid by the State when the Department of Transportation exercises eminent domain to apply to the displacement of a business established for more than 3 years that is located on land that is the subject of the proceedings or on adjoining land if that business owns the land that is the subject of the proceedings.
