Amend the amendment by striking out all of the mandate preamble (page 1, lines 15 to 19 in amendment).
Amend the amendment in section 1 in §2203 in subsection 2 in the first paragraph in the last line (page 2, line 25 in amendment) by striking out the following: " shall, using standard operating procedures, immediately" and inserting the following: ' may, using standard operating procedures'
Amend the amendment in section 1 in §2203 in subsection 3 in the 2nd line (page 2, line 36 in amendment) by striking out the following: " shall" and inserting the following: ' may'
Amend the amendment in section 1 in §2203 in subsection 3 in the 2nd line (page 2, line 36 in amendment) by inserting after the following: " alert." the following: ' If the agency issues an alert, then the following provisions apply.'
Amend the amendment in section 1 in §2204 in subsection 2 in the 1st line (page 3, line 29 in amendment) by striking out the following: " shall" and inserting the following: ' may'

This amendment removes the mandate preamble from the committee amendment by making the reporting by local law enforcement agencies permissive rather than mandatory.
