An Act To Equalize MaineCare Reimbursements to Hospitals

Sec. 1. MaineCare reimbursements to hospitals. The Department of Health and Human Services shall, when reimbursing hospitals for services provided to MaineCare members, pay all amounts owed for hospital fiscal years 2003 and earlier prior to paying for services for hospital fiscal years 2004 and later. The department shall adopt rules to implement this section. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical rules as defined by the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
