Amend the amendment in section 1 by striking out all of subsection 1 (page 1, lines 20 to 23 in amendment) and inserting the following:
‘1. The advisability of revising the timing of determining the forest growth rate portion and whether the current method of determining stumpage values should be broadened to provide for larger regions;’
Amend the amendment in section 2 in the 3rd line (page 2, line 3 in amendment) by inserting after the following: "task force" the following: 'no more than 7 members who are'
SUMMARY
This amendment clarifies the scope of review requested regarding Maine Tree Growth Tax Law and limits to 7 the number of members of the task force invited by the Director of the Maine Forest Service within the Department of Conservation.
