Amend the amendment in section 1 by striking out all of subsection 1 (page 1, lines 20 to 23 in amendment) and inserting the following:
‘1. The advisability of revising the timing of determining the forest growth rate portion and whether the current method of determining stumpage values should be broadened to provide for larger regions;’
Amend the amendment by striking out all of section 2 (page 2, lines 1 to 6 in amendment) and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 2. Members of task force. Resolved: That the Director of the Maine Forest Service within the Department of Conservation shall invite to participate in the task force one member of each of the following groups: the Maine Forest Products Council, the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine, the Maine Municipal Association and the Maine Association of Assessing Officers. The State Tax Assessor shall appoint a person from the Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Maine Revenue Services to participate in the task force; and be it further’
