An Act To Limit the Charges for a Lost Cell Phone
Sec. 1. 10 MRSA c. 228 is enacted to read:

CELLULAR TELEPHONES
§ 1500-G. Charges for lost cellular telephone
A wireless telecommunications provider may not charge more than $50 in wireless telephone service charges for a lost or stolen cellular telephone after the telephone has been reported lost or stolen. For purposes of this section, “wireless telephone service” has the same meaning as in section 1496-B, subsection 4 and “wireless telecommunications provider” has the same meaning as in section 1496-B, subsection 5.
