‘Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6671, sub-§12 is enacted to read:
12. Municipal fines. A fine collected pursuant to this section must be paid to the municipality in which the violation occurred.’

Amend the bill by striking out everything after the enacting clause and before the summary and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6671, sub-§12 is enacted to read:

This amendment replaces the bill and clarifies that fines issued pursuant to a violation of a municipal shellfish conservation ordinance must be paid to the municipality in which the violation occurred.
