An Act Regarding Penalties for Logbook Violations
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §555, sub-§4, ¶D is enacted to read:
D. A fine of not more than $100 may be adjudged for a violation of the requirement for a driver of a commercial motor vehicle to keep a record of duty status for each 24-hour period of driving as required in 49 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 395 or successor regulation.
