An Act To Allow Farm Trucks That Weigh over 9,000 Pounds To Be Eligible for Specialty License Plates
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §468, sub-§8, as enacted by PL 2001, c. 623, §5, is amended to read:
8. Weight limit. A specialty license plate may be issued for an automobile or pickup truck that does not exceed 6,000 pounds except that a farm truck that weighs over 9,000 pounds may be issued a specialty plate.
