An Act To Exempt Training and Educational Research Costs from the Voluntary Spending Cap
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. PL 2005, c. 394, §4, sub-§1, ¶D is enacted to read:
D. Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, costs related to training employees and educational research projects, including biomedical research, are excluded from the targets established and methodology for calculating cost increases and consolidated operating margins.
