Resolve, To Provide Access for Persons with Disabilities to Great Ponds
Sec. 1. The Department of Conservation and the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife authorized to develop a plan to provide access for persons with disabilities to great ponds. Resolved: That the Department of Conservation and the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall jointly develop a plan to provide adequate access for persons with disabilities to inland bodies of water in the State 10 acres or greater; and be it further
Sec. 2. Reporting date established. Resolved: That the Department of Conservation and the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall submit a report of their findings and the plan under section 1, including funding sources and, if needed, any implementing legislation, to the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry by January 3, 2008. The Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry may report out a bill to the 123rd Legislature to implement any findings, plans or proposed legislation contained in the report.
